Medicolegal
Our physiotherapists have extensive experience providing physiotherapy for people who either have an ongoing or settled medicolegal claim. While we do not currently offer expert witness we have worked with many solicitors and case managers alongside a wider multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for our clients.
Personal Health Budget
We are currently working with NHS Trusts and ICBs (formerly CCGs) in providing physiotherapy for those who have ongoing health needs as a result of a long term condition. Currently, this has to be referred by the Trust/ICB. If you have any queries as to possible eligibility or as a provider please contact us.
Neurological Physiotherapy
A neurological condition is any condition that affects the brain, spinal cord or nervous system. As part of neurological physiotherapy, we offer a specialised and tailored rehab journey which is specific to your condition, as there are never two conditions alike.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy can be a great way of strengthening muscles, decreasing tone, reducing pain and increase exercise tolerance in a de-weighted environment. This reduces stress on the joints and can help reduce anxiety from the fear of falling. We work with local pools in your area to provide a local service that suits you. Our physiotherapists have engaged in further training to become specialists in hydrotherapy.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a popular method of treatment which can achieve a variety of outcomes, most notably for chronic pain alongside an appropriate physiotherapy intervention.
Orthopaedics
Orthopaedics is a branch of physio that covers musculoskeletal injury (muscle, bone and ligaments damage). Quite often this type of physio occurs after a clear diagnosis is made of the injury and a protocol to optimise recovery is followed. Due to the long nature of orthopaedic injuries associated issues and problems can arise. We provide a tailored and specific treatment which looks at all issues created.
Frailty & Falls
As we grow older it is often associated that we do less and grow weaker. Falls and therefore injuries are more likely to occur. Our physios are able to provide specific exercises to help prevent fall and regain strength and independence.
Massage
Massage is a useful tool in reducing chronic pain by feeding back information to the brain to reduce the sensation of pain. Massage can help decrease stress and increase blood flow to the area and aid the healing process. All our physiotherapists are massage trained.
Personal Training
As a company we have worked hard to work with local personal trainers who can either work alongside our physio’s or continue you rehab long after physiotherapy has ended. Due to the often-complex nature of our patients' conditions our physiotherapists work alongside the personal trainer to create specific, tailored programmes.
Functional Electronic Stimulation
FES is a tool which can be used to improve and regain previously lost muscle function, often related to neurological conditions. Dan is fully FES trained and has experience using it alongside conventional physiotherapy to optimise muscle function and rehabilitation.
Return To Hobbies
Part of the rehab journey is helping you find new hobbies which will help lead you to a happier and healthier life, no matter your physical ability. By participating in a hobby, rehab continues long after your physiotherapy session ends. We support you by making hobbies accessible and tailoring your physiotherapy programme to your goals.
Insurance Providers
We are now registered with multiple major insurance providers. If you have been granted sessions by your insurance provider, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If we are not initially recognised by your insurance provider, we are generally happy to apply.
